Within my clan, we have the same sorry story of pork chops.  Our mothers were horrible cooks, but good Catholics.  I felt the pork chop needed to be redeemed in my family to undo the taste of Chris and Pitts covering the burnt little fellow in a skillet.

Skippyjon Jones Ees a muy funny book!

We have been enjoying the antics of Skippyjon Jones recently.  The children laugh regularly, as well as any guests that stay for storytime.  Judy Schachner's humor and poetic cadence is a riot to read over and over.

We have pre-ordered, "Skippyjon Jones and the Big Bones" coming out in October.  Can't wait!
