The previews for the second one did it. We had to add the first to the Netflix list. I'm glad we didn't see it in a theater, but that's because we aren't big on these types of fantasy films. It was predictable, but fun. I can see why it's become someone of a cult classic in the works, but I have to admit I didn't stay with it until the end.
Then we went for the indy film, "Son of Rambow." We had such high hopes for it. I don't know if it struck pains of adolescence or just moved to slowly for me. Perhaps I have late onset of ADD, but I could not stick with this one until the end either. There were some great scenes/stunts, no memorable lines, that's about it.
I couldn't get worked up enough about either of these films to give them their own posting. I don't have enough to say about either of them.
